Creating a Public Interview Link

public interview link enables you to gather data from an unknown external user, such as a prospect. When you create a public interview link, Advance generates a link to the interview which you can place on your website.

Prerequisites

Public interview links are an additional feature of Advance. Interviews accessed through public interview links are charged as part of a client interview subscription quota. Contact your account manager if you would like to add client interviews, including public interview links, to your Advance subscription.

To create a public interview link

  1. In the Administration section, select Public interview links Public interview link.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the screen, click Create new public interview linkCreate new link.
  3. Type a new public interview link Name.
  4. In the Work group drop-down list, click a work group.
  5. In the Template drop-down list, click a template.
  6. Select the Active checkbox to make the link public.
  7. Select whether validation is required.
  8. (Optional) Add a custom message to the contact details page, such as a welcome or instructions to your customers (200 characters maximum). If no custom message is added, Advance will display "Please enter your contact details". 
  9. Click Create.

The public interview link shows in the table.
