Assigning the Work Group Default Answers Template

You assign the work group default answers template either when creating a new work group or by updating an existing work group.

Changing the default answers template causes the saved answers to the previous template to be deleted. To view the current default answers template without editing, see the work group details pane.

Prerequisites

  • You must be a Site Administrator to assign a work group default answers template.

To assign a work group default answers template

When creating a new work group:

  1. Create a new work group.
  2. In the options provided, select Set work group default answers template.
  3. From the drop down menu, select your template.
  4. When you are ready, click Create.

The work group is created with the work group default answers template assigned.

 

When updating an existing work group:

  1. In the Administration section, click Manage work groups Manage work groups.
  2. From the list of work groups, select the Work group you wish to edit.
  3. In the Default answers template drop down menu, select your template.
  4. Click Save Changes.

The work group default answers template is set or updated.
