Creating a Quick Group

You can create a new quick documents group in the Administration section of HotDocs Advance.

You must have a Site Administrator or Content Administrator role to create a new quick documents group.

To create a quick documents group

  1. In the Administration section, click Manage quick groupsManage quick groups.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the screen, click  Create new quick group.
  3. Enter the following quick group details:
    • (Required) Name the quick document group's name.
    • (Optional) Description – a description of the quick document group.
    • Quick group active status - select the Quick group active checkbox to set the state to active (default); template users cannot access inactive quick groups.
    • (Optional) Templatesassign templates to the quick document group.
    • (Optional) Access permissionsassign user groups access to the quick document group. Users in the selected user groups can assemble the templates selected above.
  4. Click Create.

The new group appears in the Quick document groups list.
