Logging into the Advance Root Application

Once you install Advance, you need to log into the Advance root application to create a tenancy. You will also use the root application whenever you need to edit a tenancy or manage tenancy administrator users.

The URL for the root application typically looks like https://server.yourorganization.com/HdaRoot. If you changed the default RootWebAppName value in the installer settings file, the root application may have a different name.

To log into the root application

1. Open a web browser and type in the root application address.
2. Press Enter.
3. Type your username and password into the login fields (the user you login as must have the Root Administrator role).
4. Click the Login button.

You are now logged into the root application.
