Work Groups Overview

Access to templates in HotDocs Advance is controlled through a system of work groups and user groups. For example, if you have two different types of HotDocs template, used by two different departments, an administrator could organize the templates into two separate work groups representing the two departments.

Work groups enable you to organize templates uploaded to HotDocs Advance into groups. This enables you to give your uploaded templates a logical organizational structure within Advance, reflecting how the templates are used within your organization. For example, you could use work groups to organize template by department, topic area, or use-case. user access permissionsTemplate users can only access templates in work groups to which their user groups are assigned.
