Downloading Site Settings Files

The download settings installer command enables you to download the site-specific settings files from your deployed instance of HotDocs Advance. This is useful for backing up site settings for your existing Advance deployment.

To download the site settings files

1. Open the Windows Command Prompt.
2. Navigate to the folder containing the Advance installer files.
3. Navigate to the bin.
4. Run the following command:
   HdaInstaller settings d

The site settings files are downloaded to the SettingsTemp folder, inside the Advance installer files bin folder. For example, C:\Users\yourname\Downloads\HdaAdvance\bin\SettingsTemp.
