Create a New Root User
If you want to use an Active Directory account for the new root user, see Create a Root User using an Active Directory Account.
You can create a new root user in the Advance root application.
To create a new root user
- Log in to the Advance Root Application.
 - Click the Root users link.
 - Click the Create a new root UNP User link.
 - Enter the following details:
      
- First name – the first name of the root user
 - Last name – the last name of the root user
 - Email address – the email address of the root user
 - Root role type – the type of root role for the new user; either:
          
- None – the user does not have a root role
 - Root admin – the user can perform all actions in root
 - Root user manager – the user can only manage users
 - Root provisioning – the user can only create, deactivate, and delete tenancies
 
 - Password – the password for the user
 - Confirm password – re-type the password you typed in the previous field
 
 - Click the Create button.
 
The new root user appears in the Root Users list.
