Editing a Tenancy User from the Root Application

You can edit a tenancy user from the Root UI, rather than logging into the specific tenancy to which the user is allocated. This is useful if you need to update e-mail addresses for users or review which users have Site Administrator roles.

To edit a tenancy user

  1. Log into the Advance Root Application
  2. Click Manage Tenancies.
  3. Click Details next to the tenancy in which you want to edit a user.
  4. Click the List users link.
  5. Click the Edit user link next the user you want to edit.
  6. Enter the following information into the Edit Tenancy User form:
    • FirstName – the first name of the user (you cannot edit this property for an Active Directory user)
    • LastName – the last name of the user (you cannot edit this property for an Active Directory user)
    • EmailAddress – the e-mail address for the user (you cannot edit this property for an Active Directory user)
    • IsSiteAdministrator – toggle to add/remove the Site Administrator role for the user
    • IsActive – toggle to make the user active/inactive; inactive users cannot log in to the tenancy
  7. Click Finish.

The user's details are now updated.
