Adding Punctuation Marker Fields

You can create a punctuation marker field to insert conditional punctuation marks or configure line, page, and paragraph breaks in your assembled document.

To add a formatting marker field

  1. Open a template for editing.
  2. Without selecting any text, place the insertion point where you want to insert the punctuation marker field.
  3. In the Field Editor, under Other Operations, click Add a Punctuation Marker.

If Other Operations is not visible, click More.

  1. From the list of options, select the type of punctuation you want to add.
  2. Click Add Field.
