To punctuate a non-repeated list, use a series of marker fields to add punctuation depending on where answers are placed in the document.

To start a punctuated list:

  1. Open a template for editing.
  2. In the template text, select where you want the list to start.
  3. In the Field Editor, under Regions and Rules, select Create a punctuated list.
  4. Select the list format from the Field Properties.
  5. Click Add Field.
  6. (Optional) Move the enclosing dot code [.pe] to where you want your punctuated list to end.

To add punctuation:

  1. In your list, select where you want to add a punctuation mark.
  2. In the Field Editor, under Regions and Rules, select Add a list separator marker.
  3. Click Add Field.
