Removing a Component from a Dialog

You can remove components from an existing dialog using Component Studio, or the HotDocs Field Editor.

Remove a component from a dialog in Component Studio

  1. Open Component Studio.
  2. In the Components list, double-click on the dialog to open it for editing.
  3. On the Contents tab, select the component you want to remove and drag it into the Components tab.

Remove a component from a dialog in the HotDocs Field Editor

  1. Open an existing template or create a new template.
  2. In the template, select the component you want to remove from the dialog
  3. Next to the Linked dialog field, click the Edit button.
  4. On the Contents tab, select the component you want to remove and drag it into the Components tab, or in the right click menu, click Remove command.
  5. Click OK.
  1. To open the dialog editor in Component Studio, click Edit in Component Studio.
