Using Themes to style Embedded Interviews

Embedded Themes are named sets of CSS and image files, used to change the appearance of Cloud Services embedded interviews.

To create a new embedded theme

  1. Log in to the Cloud Services Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Embedded Themes.
  3. Click Copy to create a copy of the default CSS file.
  4. Enter a new Theme Name (e.g. ExampleTheme).
  5. Click OK.
  6. Select the CSS/XAML tab. You can now customize the appearance of the embedded interview by editing the CSS file for your new theme.
  7. Click Save once you have finished customizing the CSS.

Using the new embedded theme to style an embedded interview

Use the Theme parameter when making a Create Session request to Cloud Services. The value for the parameter is the Theme Name created above. When the embedded interview loads, it is styled using the CSS and image files defined in the theme.
