Generate an Interview Link

The Interview Link feature allows you to generate a direct URL to the Interview for a HotDocs Template.

• Template Hub API
• Template Hub UI
• Interview Service
• One or more Templates uploaded to the Template Hub

Generate an Interview Link

To generate an Interview Link:

1. Launch the HotDocs Template Hub
2. Navigate to the Templates section
3. Select a Template in the Templates list
4. Click Copy Interview Link
5. Click Copy to copy the Interview URL to the clipboard

Using the Interview URL

The Interview URL is used like any other URL. You can add the URL to a web page as a hyperlink, send the URL in an e-mail, or add it to a page in an internal document management site, like Sharepoint. When a user clicks on the link, an Interview loads in a new page.

Using an HTML Hyperlink

In an existing HTML document, add the following line inside the body HTML tag:

<a href="{interview-url}">Load Interview</a>

Where {interview-url} is the linked copied to the clipboard in the steps above.
