"Could not load file or assembly...or one of its dependencies" error when loading HotDocs Hub UI

Problem

You receive an "Could not load file or assembly...or one of its dependencies." error message when trying to load the HotDocs Hub UI.

Cause

This error is typically caused by a DLL file being corrupted during installation.

Solution

The error message you receive when loading the Hub UI names the specific DLL file that HotDocs Hub could not loaded. You should copy another version of the DLL from the bin directory of another Hub application. For example, copy the DLL from the HotDocsTemplateHubApi/bin directory and paste the file into the HotDocsTemplateHubUi/bin directory. This overwrites the corrupt file.

When you reload the HotDocs Hub UI, it will find the updated DLL and load correctly.
