Child Template Groups
Child template groups are template groups nested inside another template group, to create a subgroup.
Overview
Any template group may be added to another template group (the "parent" template group) as a subgroup (the "child" template group). This enables you to create hierarchies of templates that reflect the existing structure of documents in your organization.
Common Tasks
- Creating a Template Group – child template groups are normal template groups, before they are added to another template group
- Adding a Child Template Group – add the template group created above to another template group
Workflow
You will typically create a child template group after you have created an initial template group and need to create a subgroup of templates within that group.
