User Permissions for Template Groups

You enable users' access to templates by giving their user groups permissions to template groups.

Overview

A Permissions section appears when creating or editing a template group, if you are logged in to the HotDocs Hub as a tenancy administrator. This section enables you to give user groups access to template groups. Members of a user group added to a template group can perform the following actions from the Templates section of the Hub:

• View a list of the template group's templates
• Load an interview for a template in the template group

Workflow

You typically assign user permissions to templates once you have uploaded your templates and created at least one user group and template group.

Template Uploader permissions

A user with the Template Uploader role is automatically given access permissions for any template they upload.
