Overview

Template Groups enables you to organize templates uploaded to HotDocs Hub into a hierarchy, with parent template groups and sub-groups ("child template groups"). This enables you to give your uploaded templates a logical organizational structure within Hub, reflecting how the template are used within your organization. For example, you could use template groups to organize template by department, topic area, or use-case. You also use template groups to control user access permissions to templates.

Common Tasks

Workflow

You will typically create a template group before you upload templates to HotDocs Hub. Once templates are uploaded to Hub, you can assign templates to appropriate template groups. You can also assign user permissions to groups, giving users access to the templates.

Child Template Groups

A Child Group is the name for a group that you have assigned to a Parent Group. You can use Child Groups to organize templates into sub-groups within a larger group.
