Install the HotDocs Service Broker

System Requirements

Before installing the HotDocs Service Broker, you must first ensure that your server meets the minimum system requirements and that you have correctly set up your environment.

Installation Files

To complete the steps below, you require the HotDocs Service Broker installation files. If you do not have the installation files, please contact your HotDocs Sales Representative.

To Install the HotDocs Service Broker

HotDocs Service Broker DLLs downloaded from the internet may need to be unblocked before installation. See Unblock Downloaded HotDocs Service Broker DLLs for more information.

1. Navigate to the HotDocs Service Broker DLLs folder you received from your HotDocs representative.
2. Unblock the DLLs inside the folder.
3. Copy the DLLs inside the folder.
4. Paste the DLLs into the K2 Blackpearl Service Broker folder, typically C:\Program Files(x86)\K2 Blackpearl\ServiceBroker. Once you copy the DLLs to the folder, the K2 Smart Object Tester detects them.

Next Steps

Once the HotDocs Service Broker is installed, open the K2 SmartObject Tester. From here, you will be able to register the HotDocs Service. See Using the HotDocs Service Broker Overview for more information.
