Enter Answers in International Languages

As you complete an interview, you can enter answers in any left-to-right reading language. Answers you enter will be merged into the assembled document.

Answers entered in these languages will be merged correctly anywhere the variable is used—either in the assembled document or in other questions or text used in the interview.

HotDocs supports all left-to-right reading characters in the Unicode specification. However, not all fonts installed on your computer can display these characters. If you are using a font either in the interview display or in the assembled document that cannot display these characters, they will appear as unknown characters (usually boxes or question marks). When working with international languages, always make sure you are using fonts (like Arial Unicode MS or Tahoma) that support a wide range of characters. This includes making sure other users who will be accessing your assembled documents or answer files likewise have correct fonts installed.
