Deactivating a User Group

You can deactivate a user group in the Administration section of HotDocs AdvanceWhen a user group is deactivated, users within that group will be prevented from accessing any work groups the user group is part of. Deactivating a user group does not delete it, so it can be reactivated at any time if needed.

You must have a Site Administrator role to deactivate a user group.

To deactivate a user group

  1. In the Administration section, click Manage user groups Manage user groups.
  2. From the list of user groups, select the User group you want to deactivate.
  3. In the Details pane, click EditEdit.
  4. Deselect User group active to deactivate.

The user group is now deactivated.
