Installing HotDocs Advance

To install the HotDocs Advance applications in your environment, you must run the installer.

To view help information for the Advance installer, use the HdaInstaller –h command in the Windows Command Prompt.

Prerequisites

To install HotDocs Advance

  1. Open the Windows Command Prompt as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to the unzipped HotDocs Advance folder.
  3. Navigate to the bin folder.
  4. Type the following command:
    HdaInstaller install
  5. Press Enter; the installer checks the prerequisites for Advance and installs the Advance applications.

HotDocs Advance is now installed.

If you receive an error message during installation, please see the Troubleshooting section for more information. You should also use the Advance installation checklists to ensure that your environment meets all necessary system and configuration requirements.

If necessary, you can turn off the installer’s prerequisite checks. See enable or disable installer prerequisite checks for more information.
