Creating a Repeated Region
Creating a repeated region around variables, text and other content enables users to provide more than one answer to a question in an interview; for example, when adding multiple dependents to an insurance document or adding multiple jobs to the job history section of an employment document.
When creating a repeated region inside a table, you can repeat an entire row or just one cell.
To create a repeated region
- Open a template.
- Highlight the content you want to repeat (if the content is inside a table, select a single cell or single entire row).
- In the Field Editor, from the Action box, click Create a repeated region.
- In the Field Properties box, under Repeated Dialog Name, type the name of a new dialog you want to repeat (or select an existing dialog from the drop-down list). For a new dialog, click Create Now.
- The following tasks are optional:
- (Optional) Click the Edit component button to edit the properties (including adding components) for the dialog you wish to repeat.
- (Optional) Choose a Format for the variables in the dialog contents.
- (Optional) Expand Advanced properties to edit further repeated region properties.
- Click Add Field.
Author inserts the REPEAT and END REPEAT instruction around the selection. To test the REPEAT instruction you just created, click Test.
