Creating an Answer Intake
You create an answer intake in the HotDocs Workspace Explorer, then edit within HotDocs Composer.
Prerequisites
- Before you create your first answer intake or template, you must create a workspace to hold your template.
To create a new answer intake
- At the top of the Workspace Explorer, click New Template.
- From the Type drop-down, select Answer Intake (.hdint).
- Type a File Name and a Title (optionally, also a Description).
You should limit your template file names to 100 characters or less.
- (Optional) Click Properties to change any Answer Intake Properties you want, then click OK.
- HotDocs Composer opens, enabling you to edit your template. Use the script editor to define the custom interview for the answer intake.
From the Composer ribbon, you can click Component Studio to create any components (such as dialogs) or scripts required for the interview HotDocs generates when you click Test.
