To interact with the HotDocs Hub through a web browser, Administrators and User use the Template Hub UI.

Launch the HotDocs Template Hub UI

Cloud Services

To launch the Template Hub UI:

1. Open a web browser
2. Enter the URL http://servername/TemplateHub (see below) into the browser.
3. Press Enter. The landing page for the Template Hub UI appears.

URL for the On-Premise HotDocs Template Hub UI

The URL for the HotDocs Template Hub UI website depends on the instance of Cloud Services to which you subscribe. Typically, it has the following URL format:

• http://cloud-services-instance/TemplateHub

Where cloud-services-instance is the name of the subscribed instance. For example:

• http://cloud.hotdocs.ws/TemplateHub – US instance of Cloud Services
• http://europe.hotdocs.ws/TemplateHub – EU instance of Cloud Services

On-Premise Installation

To launch the Template Hub UI:

1. Open a web browser
2. Enter the URL http://servername/TemplateHub (see below) into the browser.
3. Press Enter. The landing page for the Template Hub UI appears.

URL for the On-Premise HotDocs Template Hub UI

The URL for the HotDocs Template Hub UI website depends on where you installed the HotDocs Template Hub UI. Typically, it has the following URL format:

• http://servername/TemplateHub

Where servername is the name of the server where you installed the Template Hub UI.

First use of the Template Hub UI

The first time the HotDocs Hub UI is used, it requires a Tenancy Administrator to log in and reset their password. For more information, see First use of the Template Hub.

Log in to the Template Hub UI

To access the Template Hub UI, users must log in. A temporary password is assigned when the user is first created and must be changed on first login.

To login to the Template Hub UI:

1. Launch the HotDocs Template Hub UI (see above)
2. On the landing page, enter the appropriate username and password.
1. If the user is logging in for the first time, they are prompted to change their password.

Template Hub UI Content

When you launch the Template Hub UI in a browser you then have 4 options:

• Templates – click Templates to view and edit template details.
• Template Groups – click Template Groups to view existing template groups, edit group details, assign templates to a group or create a new group.
• Download Configuration File – click Download Configuration File to download the configuration file for the HotDocs Developer Upload Plugin.
• Help – click Help to open this help file in a new window.

To Return to the Home Page

1. Click the HotDocs logo at the top left of the page to return to the Home page at any time.
