Check migration log files

This section is only relevant if you are upgrading HotDocs Hub version 1.24.0 or earlier to a later version of Hub.

After you upgrade HotDocs Hub and login to the Hub UI for the first time, you should check the User Admin service log files, to confirm that the migration completed successfully.

To check the migration log files

  1. Navigate to the User Admin service installation directory; by default, this is C:\inetpub\wwwroot\HotDocsUserAdmin\
  2. Navigate to the Logs folder.
  3. Open the MigrationLogsError log file; it should be empty. If the log file displays errors, you should re-run the migration.
  4. Open the MigrationLogsOK log file; you should see all of the users in Hub listed as having successfully migrated.
