Downloading and running Apache Directory Studio

You must download and run Apache Directory Studio before you can configure the installed ApacheDS instance.

Prerequisites

• Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 7.0 or later
• ApacheDS

Download Apache Directory Studio

Note: If you have the 32-bit version of the JRE installed, you must install the 32-bit version of Apache Directory Studio. If you have the 64-bit version of the JRE installed, you must install the 64-bit version of Apache Directory Studio.

Apache Directory Studio is available from https://directory.apache.org/studio/. Version 2.0 is recommended.

To run Apache Directory Studio

1. Download Apache Directory Studio.
2. Extract the downloaded zip file.
3. Navigate to the extracted directory.
4. Run the ApacheDirectoryStudio.exe executable.
