Adding a Note to a Component

Whether you're working on a template with other Authors or on your own, you may find it useful to add notes to your components.

To add notes to a component

1. Open Component Studio.
2. Open the component you want to add a note to.
3. Click the Notes tab in the component editor.
4. Type your note.
5. Click Save.

You can also add a comment to an individual HotDocs field in a template.
