Adding an Upload Destination to Your Workspace

Before you can upload a template to HotDocs Hub, you need to add an upload destination to the workspace housing the template you want to upload.

Adding an Upload destination by Double-clicking the Configuration File

To add an upload destination using the configuration file
  1. Log in to your HotDocs Hub account.
  2. At the top right of the page, click Config; then download the Hub upload configuration file (.hdrepoconfig).
  3. On your computer, using the file explorer, navigate to the location where you downloaded the configuration file.
  4. Double-click the configuration file.
  5. Click the Browse button, and navigate to the workspace folder you want to link to HotDocs Hub; then click Select Folder.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Type the Application Secret (you must do this before you can upload templates to HotDocs Hub).  If you do not know the secret, ask your system administrator.
  8.  Click OK; then Save Changes.

Adding an Upload destination Using the Import Button

To add an upload destination using the Import button
  1. Log in to your HotDocs Hub account.
  2. At the top right of the page, click Config; then download the Hub upload configuration file (.hdrepoconfig).
  3. In Workspace Explorer, click Workspace > Upload Destinations...
  4. Click Import; then browse to and select Hub upload configuration file you just downloaded.
  5. Click Open.
  6. Type the Application Secret (you must do this before you can upload templates to HotDocs Hub).  If you do not know the secret, ask your system administrator.
  7.  Click OK; then Save Changes.

Adding an Upload Destination Manually (Add Destination button)

You can chose to add an upload destination by manually adding all the needed connection and security settings.

To add an upload destination manually
  1. In Workspace Explorer, click Workspace > Upload Destinations...
  2. Click Add Destination.
  3. Ensure that the Type drop-down on the right displays the type of Hub repository your company uses (HotDocs Advance or Classic Hub).
  4. Type the Destination Name, as well as the Connection and Security Settings. If you do not know this information, ask your system administrator.
  5.  Click OK; then Save Changes.

Editing an Existing Upload Destination

You can edit an existing upload destination by double-clicking.

To edit an existing upload destination
  1. In Workspace Explorer, click Workspace > Upload Destinations...
  2. Select and then double-click the upload destination you want to edit.

Deleting an Upload Destination

Use the right-click menu to delete an upload destination.

To delete an upload destination
  1. In Workspace Explorer, click Workspace > Upload Destinations...
  2. Select and then right-click the upload destination you want to delete, then select Delete.
