Setting Template Properties

You can use the template properties dialog to view and edit general template information as well as edit the templates interview and assembly behavior.

To set template properties from Workspace Explorer

1. In Workspace Explorer, click the template you want to edit.
2. In the right pane, click Template Properties.
3. Edit any of the template property settings.
4. Click OK.

You can also access the template properties dialog when you create a new template by clicking Properties at the bottom of the New Template dialog.

To set template properties from Composer

1. Open a plain text template or answer intake for editing in HotDocs Composer.
2. From the ribbon, in the Template group, click Template Properties.
3. Edit any of the template property settings.
4. Click OK.

To set template properties from the Word ribbon

1. Open a template for editing in Word.
2. From the ribbon, in the Template group, click Template Properties.
3. Edit any of the template property settings.
4. Click OK.
