Using a Different Component File for a Template

After you create a template, you can choose to use an existing component file rather than the blank one created by HotDocs (with the same name as the template).

To use a different component file for a template

1. Open the Template Properties dialog.
2. From the Component File drop-down, select the component file you want to use.
3. Click OK.
