Adding a Script to a Dialog

You can use the HotDocs scripting language to add specific instructions to a dialog editor's Script tab to make the dialog behave dynamically during the interview.

To add a script to a dialog

1. Open Component Studio.
2. In the Components list to the left, open a dialog for editing by double-clicking it.
3. Click the Script tab.
4. Drag dialog instructions from the Models tab (to the right) onto the Script tab and drag components from the Components tab to replace the placeholders in the model.
